The governor is encouraging private landlords and community stakeholders to attend an informational summit on December 9 to learn about state and federal programs aimed at ending veteran homelessness by this time next year. State and Federal officials will specifically discuss programs offering incentives to private landlords who rent units to veterans. The incentives include guaranteed income, free advertising, and neutral case management. The programs are part of a larger initiative that includes providing employment and training opportunities for veterans.
